A Journey to Healthier Eating

Before joining Walter’s program and committing to the eating plan, my diet was terrible. So when Walter introduced the Weight Loss Warrior class, I decided to give it a try—I had nothing to lose (except the weight!). The first couple of weeks were strict, but I pushed through. I won’t lie—the eating plan wasn’t easy, and by week four, despite my weight loss, I really started missing my old favorites (pizza and ice cream). But with Walter’s constant encouragement, I stayed on track.


After completing the five-week program, Walter gave me a cheat day. I was beyond excited—the pizza was calling my name! But when I finally took a bite, it wasn’t as good as I had remembered. Surprisingly, I found myself wishing I had chosen fruit instead. That moment made me realize that my mindset was shifting, and hopefully, my body will continue to transform.


Lessons Learned:

Following a healthy diet isn’t as hard as I once believed—as long as I stick to a few key rules:

  • Fresh fruit is a great way to satisfy my sweet tooth.

  • Vegetables are non-negotiable—they must be part of my daily meals.

  • Planning ahead is essential! I need to keep fruits and veggies stocked at home, pack my lunch, or commit to choosing a healthy meal when eating out.


Thanks to Walter’s guidance, I now see food differently. This is just the beginning of my journey, and I’m excited to keep going!
