I joined Walter Lewis fitness virtual bootcamp on April 1, 2022. I had been getting good results on Noom before I got bored, my progress ceased, and I started slipping backward. I needed something more! I set a new concrete goal for myself to release the extra weight finally and permanently (especially after gaining weight from 2 years of working from home and covid stress eating.) and achieve a strong, fit body image. I didn’t know how I was going to do it, but I sent my goal out to the universe. Then my sister mentioned that she was attending bootcamp and asked if I would be interested. Bingo! Prayers answered.
Under the tutelage of fitness trainer and coach, Walter Lewis, I have become a brand new me. I enthusiastically jump up every morning @ 5 am ready for another bootcamp. It took a few weeks for my body to adjust to all the NEW exercise, but the intense, extra movement now keeps me on a constant high.
I am almost 72 and had not “exercised” in years. So, whenever I need an exercise accommodation (mainly for the floor exercises), Walter has been really good about giving me extra support for various options so that I can still get the most out of all the workouts.
I hadn’t missed any classes at all until a recent girls’ weekend. I love working out now! I’ve lost more than 20 lbs since I started bootcamp. I’ve toned up and gotten stronger and fitter. I am close to my desired end goal. I have more than succeeded at improving my body image. I am enormously proud of the results Walter helped me achieve. He has kept the motivation at continuously high levels in our virtual boot camp community with a constant variety of fun group challenges that encourage us to join in the competition and develop good exercise habits.
Walter is also our trainer and coach outside of bootcamp. The virtual app contains bootcamp and other recordings, so we have them available to us 24/7. We also log in our food on the app so we know the calories, protein, carbs, and fat to stay below in order to lose. He works with us on losing weight through proper nutrition, intermittent fasting (I now do a 14-hour fast that is working well for me.) and increasing the intensity of our daily exercise through bootcamp and extra exercise challenges. He keeps us fully engaged in our personal health and wellness journey.
